Hi Friends...
At work we have the standard "desk-calendars" and I am always excited to turn the page on these because they have famous quotes for every day of the week. Each day it is like looking up a surprise and it's good to start the day with a good quote.
Not long ago I came across this quote which was refreshing to read. It goes:
“Be not afraid of growing slowly, be afraid of standing still.”
It's awesome how God can use the everyday things in our lives to speak volumes to us!
So yeah learn to hear God through the small things in life because sometimes in the small things you will hear big things from God!

- I was born in 1979 in the smallest country in Central America: El Salvador. Moved here to Australia in 1989. I met my beautiful wife in 2001. After 6 months of marriage we made the move, sold our house and most of everything that we had and migrated to the USA where we attended Patten University in Oakland, California. By far one of the most exciting places I have ever lived. Heaps of memories and friends that though our time there was very short, will last within us for a lifetime. Once we finished our BA's we again sold most of our possessions and spent the next few months in Mexico working with YWAM San Diego/Baja. Again our time there was amongst the best times of our lives. We are now (that is of the date of writing this) living in Australia, and trying to settle down a little bit. However we know our traveling days are anything but over. We do hope to make it back to places we've been as well as seeing other places where memories and friendships await us... In the mean time I continue to live, love and learn. Live in the fullness of Life found only in Christ. Loving my God, my wife and my neighbor. Learning everyday, everyway and everyhow

I love that quote. That encourages me. Sometimes it feels like things are going so slow that I am standing still, but they're not.
